Maddison Group offers a fully comprehensive insurance package. Classed as a group policy, we can offer this at a greatly reduced rate of just £3 per week to you. This Personal Accident Benefit is universal – i.e. it is available for all contractors on any of our schemes.
What does this cover?
In the event that you should have an accident whilst at work, the following pay-outs are applicable as per the injury sustained:

| Total and irrecoverable loss of all sight in one or both eyes rendering the Insured Person absolutely blind in the eyes or eyes beyond remedy by surgical or other treatment. | £100,000 |
Total loss by physical severance or complete and irrecoverable loss of use of:
| Either one or both hands and or one or both feet | £100,000 |
| One thumb | £20,000 |
| One index finger | £15,000 |
| Any other finger | £10,000 |
| One big toe | £10,000 |
| Any other toe | £3,000 |
Complete and irrecoverable loss of use of:
| Shoulder or elbow | £30,000 |
| Wrist | £25,000 |
| Hip knee or ankle | £25,000 |
| Fractured leg or foot with established non union | £25,000 |
| Fractured knee cap with established non union | £25,000 |
| Shortening of a leg by at least 3cm | £15,000 |
| Removal of the lower jaw by surgical operation | £30,000 |
| Permanent facial disfigurement to an extent of not less than 5 square centimetres of scar tissue in the area from the hairline to and including the lower jaw and ears | £10,000 |
Complete and irrecoverable loss of use of:
| Permanent total disablement (other than loss of sight or limbs) entirely preventing the Insured Person from engaging in or giving attention to any and every profession or occupation. | £100,000 |
| Complete and incurable Paralysis or Insanity | £20,000 |
| Complete and irrecoverable loss of hearing: in one ear in both ears |

| Complete and irrecoverable loss of speech | £50,000 |
| Total disablement entirely preventing the Insured Person from engaging in or giving attention to his / her usual occupations. | £300 per week payable for 26 weeks thereafter reducing to £250 per Week payable for up to a further 26 weeks or 75% of normal gross wages, whichever is the lower. 14 cv days. 52 weeks |
