How does CIS work
Once you’re on an assignment, after providing us with all the details, Maddison Group will take care of everything for you.
We invoice, provide insurances and collect your funds. After deducting our fee we pay you via Bankers’ Automated Clearing Services (BACS), clearing in your account on a Friday, in time for the weekend!
We make all appropriate Tax deductions. Dependent upon your status, these deductions will normally be either 20% or 30% as advised by HMRC.
For an additional £3 per week we can provide a comprehensive Personal Accident Benefit scheme.
Note: As you hold a self-employed status, it is your responsibility to complete a self assessment form on a yearly basis.

Fees
Standard
10% capped at £18.
You will never pay more than £18 per week, which is considerably less than some of our competitors
NOTE
If you are not already registered as self-employed, you will need to contact HMRC to complete a CWF1, you will also need to complete a CF351N to pay your Class 2NIC by direct debit (currently £2.40 per week). You will then need to register under the CIS Scheme at HMRC
