Tax Compliance (Payroll & Payroll Plus)

Employees are entitled to relief from tax and National Insurance in relation to expenses “Wholly and Exclusively” incurred when travelling on business or attendance at a ‘temporary workplace’. The “Agencies Act” and tax legislation deem that all employment agency placements are “Permanent places of work”.

Maddison Group is not an Employment Agency. The workers are Employees of Maddison Group and as such have to prove eligibility to work in the UK documents.

The contractor will have a series of work placements covered by a single ongoing or over arching contract of employment. Please note the 24 month rule still applies.
